Holy Crap!

Published by yolander at 10:25 pm under Motivation Edit This

I‘m going to take a moment to pat myself on my back. Wope, hold on a sec…errr..lemme just…reach…arghh…ahhhh… yeahhhhhh, that’s the ticket. Yup, a little pat on the ole backareeno. Oh, I’m sorry, did you want to know why I’m patting myself on the back and writing a blog on my writing-a-blog-off-day? Well, since you asked so nicely- I am doing this because I wrote 7 articles today. 7 articles. The Dow fell below 9,000 for the first time in five years, I was yelled at, threatened, and tortured all day, and I still found the energy to write 7 articles- roughly 3,000 words. Oh, and I may have earned $84 doing so. Which is more than half of the daily income I’ll need to make when I start writing full time.

fff

One of the clients I wrote for was a new client that I got from (drum roll please) Digital Point Forum! Susan (West of Mars ), you’ll be happy to know that I didn’t do anything too crazy to get the client ;) Wow. Crazy day my peeps. Crazy day. At least now I know I can afford Starbucks in the morning :)

Congrats! I’m hoping to go the full-time freelance route, too. I wish you the best of luck in achieving your goal :)

Thanks kithlyara! We’ll get there are long as we don’t give up- I feel certain of it!

Oh my gosh Susan, the yelling never stopped for me. It went on this week too. I’m about done. I guess the yelling must have inspired you - nice side effect! Oh, and, I have not yet given up on the idea of doing something crazy. At least I’ll be able to write about it later!
